We want to be a community that experiences and worships God with our whole being. We want the Lord Jesus at the center of our worship. We hunger for the fullness of the Spirit as we worship in both an intimate and inspiring way. Prayer is an important part of our life and activity as we believe that the work of the Lord is done in tandem with Him and the Holy Spirit, as we pray and listen to Him. At Communities of Grace, our vision and goal for worship is simple:

We come only to glorify God and lift Him up.

He is the reason and cause for our joy and our praise.

Focusing on Him, and not our needs.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in our home based Community Groups where we are committed to the genuine care and personal growth which flourishes in the intimacy of a small group. We focus on cultivating relationships, expressing spiritual gifts, stimulating spiritual growth, reaching the community around us, developing leaders, and experiencing life-change. Here is where we encourage each other in practical ways to become what Jesus called us to be in order to extend His Kingdom of grace to others.

Sunday mornings are a time for the church to come together to celebrate His goodness and learn how to live according to God’s Word. Our community groups are the primary units within this church where we help one another live what we hear. We consider these to be more important than anything else in the life of the church.

A community group is a community of people, not just a meeting. It is all about sharing life together, rejoicing with each other in successes, standing together in struggles, developing relationships, growing in God together, and having fun. The community group is a place where people can feel loved for who they are and be encouraged and built up to be all that they can be.

The purpose of a community group is to bring God’s Kingdom to earth in our lives and those around us. We are all called to be laborers in the harvest and as we pursue God together the result is that we are ultimately changed to be like Him! Some of our goals are:

Knowing and loving God and our brothers intimately, through trusting relationships

Making disciples and seeing the church as people not a building

Growing through multiplication and bonding like families

Empowering the people of God while raising up spiritual parents

Releasing people in their gifts and calling as they mature
